I’d have a 4 story circular library with a glass dome filled with first editions. I want rolling ladders everywhere so I can swing through the racks like Belle in Beauty in the Beast. In the middle there will be an artificial red wood tree with voids I can sit and read in. Oh and a Starbucks kiosk.

Graduating from college.

Walking into my house at night and find a stranger standing in the dark. I have M. Night Shyamalan to thank for that insanely haunting image.

Egypt. Cairo, the Valley of the Kings to be exact. I’ve always wanted to go on a dig out there. So much so, I have a minor in Anthropology.

10. How did you come up with your blog’s name?

Ecstatic Suspension is a line from a Zelda Sayer Fitzgerald (F. Scott’s wife) quote.  She was describing the first time she saw Scott;

“There seemed to be some heavenly support beneath his shoulder blades that lifted his feet from the ground in ecstatic suspension, as if he secretly enjoyed the ability to fly but was walking as a compromise to convention.”

I just thought it was so incredibly beautiful and unexpected from a woman most people regard as insane. I for the record love her.
