So, yeah they’re a bit strange and funny. However, it takes a true football nerd/ lover to pull these on.

Shame about England - Netherlands. Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the riots in England.
On paper these all look like fantastic matches but, many of these teams will be without their heaviest hitters.

The Netherlands are No. 1 according to the latest FIFA rankings, becoming only the seventh nation in history to reach the top of the FIFA table. The Oranje knock Spain off the pedestal they had occupied for more than a year, and they did it without kicking a ball in the last month!
While Spain lost to Italy in a friendly, the match between the Netherlands and England was cancelled. Coincidentally, England also moved up the rankings to No. 4 in the world.
The United States gained two spots, now sitting at No. 28 following the 1-1 draw against Mexico on Aug. 10 in Philadelphia. El Tri remain the highest ranked team in CONCACAF, holding at No. 20.
The USA’s next two opponents are Costa Rica and Belgium. Los Ticos dropped to number 60 in the ranking after a tough showing in Copa America. Belgium remain at number 37 with their greater goal qualifying for Euro 2012.
